Not sure it’s the right fit?
Not sure whether it’s psoriasis? Psoriasis can resemble eczema and other conditions. We’ll examine your skin — and scalp and nails where relevant — and confirm the diagnosis. If your symptoms or examination suggest possible psoriatic arthritis, we will explain our concerns and, where appropriate, advise on or arrange referral for further assessment. Early recognition and appropriate treatment can help reduce the risk of long-term joint damage.
About Psoriasis
Psoriasis is a common long-term inflammatory condition causing well-defined patches of inflamed, scaly skin — most often on the elbows, knees and scalp, though it can appear anywhere, and it may also affect the nails. Symptoms typically fluctuate, with quieter periods and flares. Although psoriasis is long-term, a wide range of evidence-based treatment options is available to reduce symptoms, improve quality of life and help achieve long-term disease control.
